As an Australian energy business working to provide reliable gas and electricity to customers, we face many environmental, social and occupational challenges.

The biggest challenge for our business is the challenge of adapting to and managing climate change.

In 2007, we became the first Australian energy utility to commit to long-term, ambitious greenhouse gas reduction targets through the launch of our Climate Change Strategy. To date, we remain the only energy business to make this promise.
